Simply Southern Animal Hospital is proud to serve the City of Central and the surrounding areas for everything pet-related. Our animal hospital is run by Dr. Christopher Hayes, a Louisiana licensed veterinarian, and his wife Katy, practice manager.
Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep your pets healthy year round via preventive medicine, good nutrition, and an active lifestyle. Simply Southern stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Dr. Hayes is a member of the Louisiana State Animal Response Team (LSART) Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps! Simply Southern is enrolled to serve as a volunteer facility in the event of a declared local or state emergency/disaster to facilitate in animal rescue, triage, evacuation, sheltering, response and recovery. Dr. Hayes has completed the required coursework and training for approval to become a member. LSART developed from the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA) Disaster Committee and is a division of the Dr. Walter J. Ernst Veterinary Memorial Foundation (WJE). The organization is made up of veterinarians, animal control officers, humane organizations, and citizen volunteers to respond to emergencies or disasters.
